I like very nice things, but can't always afford them. This is very much like the card table my mother had (I was wealthy growing up). My children are now gone, so I have downsized - no 14 person dining table. However, when I entertain, this table (and chairs) fit the bill. They do not look cheap. I have not had it long enough to evaluate the negatives. So far, I have no complaints.

First table I received was damaged. Contacted customer service and they sent me a new one out very promptly. A few imperfections but was very nice.
