We were able to set it up last night. I want you to know how thrilled I am with the desk. It is exactly what we needed in our space of our RV. It was simple to set up, only needed to screw in the two roller feet. I'd rate it a 10 out of 10 in functionality, quality (9) and appearance. There were only two small rubs on the joint on the bottom of the desk. Given the specific features of this desk, including dimensions and weight, make it ideal for RV'rs. I replaced a lounge chair for the space behind the passenger captain's chair. Since the chair spins, I need no additional computer chair. We just took it on a really windy and wind-y trip of over 200 miles and it worked great with one exception. We can always fold it for travel if necessary. I initially used Quake Hold! on all the items on the desk, only removing my computer for travel. We ended up having to remove the monitor too since the Quake Hold did not adhere in all spots and when we tried to move it, two of the spots pulled up the top laminate from the wood of the desk, indicating the computer desk laminate glue had little strength. For travel, we bungee-corded the desk easily to the handrail and the bottom of the passenger captain's chair. It held up well for travel.

The main detractor was the box it came in had Styrofoam that disintegrated into tiny points, like snow when we pulled the desk out. Since Styrofoam doesn't degrade very rapidly, it becomes an environmental issue as well as a static mess to try and clean the desk surface and surrounding area of the pesky dots. Recommend a different packing material for all your products to be greener and more functional.

The second detractor is that given this is a computer desk, the laminate cover should be tightly bonded to the wood for strength. Recommend stronger glue for the laminate cover. In our case the laminate bubbled and then I smoothed it back as best I could, with minor bubbling evident. My smaller items (lamp and dock for my computer are Quake held to the table) but the laminate should be stronger than the Quake hold material, since Quake hold is designed to be easily removed without staining or marking.

This is a good portable desk for anyone who is short on space or needs a desk that travels. I use it at work because I work in a different location each day. It's easy to fold and carry (not too heavy). The laminate-covered pressed particle board isn't screwed on very securely and the screws strip easily. Probably why the top shelf popped off when I lifted up on it. It was a easy fix, but the quality is a bit lower than I expected for the price.
