I was not happy with the assembly of this desk. I followed the instructions but when screwing the screws into the wood the wood fell out and then the screws would not stay in.

This is desk is perfect for my 1 bedroom apt and ideal for my OCD. I am able to store almost all of my books on the bookshelves, which is bigger than expected. To the others who have complained....they should have bought a $1,000 desk. This is deal and you get more than you pay for. I certainly recommend this desk to those searcching for an outstanding buy. Be aware the setup is a bit time consuming as there are around 175 screws to drive in, hence the blistered finger.
P.S the attached pictures due no justice as they were taken with my camera phone.
