The standards that this banquet table must meet are developed by the Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturer's Association. Every five years, the standards are reviewed and re-assessed in accordance to guidelines set by the American National Standard Association. The tests given reveal the safety and structural integrity of specified furniture independent of material.
